On June 10,2026, the 5th Pharmacy Plus Teaching & Research Workshop Cum Overseas Scholar Sharing Session was successfully hosted by the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Associate Professor Wang Cuizhu delivered a keynote presentation on her overseas academic visit. The event was chaired by Vice Dean Cao Xia.  Liu Jinping, Chair of the School Academic Committee, along with faculty and student representatives, attended the offline session.

From May 2025 to May 2026, Associate Professor Wang completed a one-year academic visiting programme at Imperial College London.  Her presentation revolved around the theme Application of Organ-on-a-Chip Technology in Natural Product Research.

During the presentation, she gave a comprehensive introduction to Imperial College London’s advanced research ecosystem, standardized laboratory management models and sophisticated teaching and research governance mechanisms, sharing valuable overseas experience with all attendees.

This workshop has served as an effective academic exchange platform, facilitating the dissemination and practical translation of overseas research achievements. Moving forward, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences will continue to organize diverse academic events. Such initiatives are designed to broaden the global horizons of faculty and students and further lift the overall standard of the school’s teaching and research work.
