On the morning of April 1, 2026, the 9th lecture of the Distinguished Speakers of Pharmaceutical Sciences Series, concurrently the first event of the Young Alumni Scholars Homecoming Series, was held in the fifth-floor lecture hall of The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Jilin University as part of the university’s 80th anniversary celebrations.
The school welcomed Professor Zhang Yinlong from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences as the keynote speaker. He is a recipient of the National Young Talent Program and a Young Chief Scientist leading a National Key R&D Program Project. His presentation was themed Bleeding Risks in Antithrombotic Therapy and Exploration of Nanoscale Reversal Strategies. Vice Dean Cao Xia presided over the seminar, which drew Dean Xiang Jinbao together with numerous faculty and student representatives.
Focusing on critical bottlenecks encountered in clinical antithrombotic treatment, Professor Zhang shared valuable experience on translating clinical demands into fundamental research, based on his years of academic work.
A vibrant Q&A session followed the talk, where teachers and students actively raised questions and engaged in in-depth exchanges, creating a lively academic atmosphere throughout the venue.
