On the morning of April 1, 2026, the second event of the Young Alumni Scholars Homecoming Series — a signature activity celebrating the 80th anniversary of Jilin University — took place in the fifth-floor lecture hall of The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Jilin University.

The school hosted an academic seminar featuring Xu Jiaqi, Associate Researcher at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a grantee of the Beijing Nova Program. Her presentation was titled Engineered Biomaterials for Intestinal Immune Programming. Vice Dean Cao Xia moderated the session, with Xiang Jinbao, Dean of the school, alongside faculty and student representatives in attendance.

Drawing on her own research journey, Associate Researcher Xu centered her talk on core scientific challenges in intestinal immune regulation and shared insights derived from interdisciplinary research.
